for making an inquiry about the baptism of your child. We are honoured that
you are thinking about coming to our Parish for this very important occasion.
Congratulations on the birth of your baby. All life comes from God and the
life of a child is a special privilege for parents to enjoy. We share that joy
with you, and like you we also want the very best that God has to offer your
family.
Baptism is more than a naming ceremony. A baptism service can be a very good
time to get in touch with the church, and to give thanks to God for the birth
of your child. Baptism is a chance to hear again that God loves and cares for
you and your family. It is an opportunity for you to come and deepen your friendship
with God. 
Baptism is a special event so we will want to sit down with you, your family
and the Godparents, if possible, to think together about what this occasion
can mean for you and for us. The Baptism preparation classes are held in the
Small Hall at Christ Church at 7pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
